Technology 3

For the last emerging technology I am using Picnik. Picnik is a fun tool to bring your photos to the next level. You can crop, rotate, and take out red eye. You can fine tune your pictures and add stickers and captions to your pictures to take one picture and turn it into a different picture. Pictures can be turned into black and white, sharpened, or even look like it was drawn by a pencil. You can even use a heat map, invert, and boost are certain types of things you can do to your picture.
I have personally used this before. I found this on facebook.com and I love it. It is very user friendly and adds some very artsy aspects to your pictures. It takes photo editing to a new level. It works on Windows, Mac, an Linux. Myspace, facebook, flickr, photobucket, are places that use picnik. You can also just upload pictures from your computer and use this tool. The best tool is that it is free unless you want the upgrade.

Emerging Technology 2

For emegering technology two I explored photobucket. Photobucket is a site that you can upload pictures and make albums. With the photos that you upload you can order things with the picture on them such as prints, mugs, and tshirts. You can make slideshows with the pictures you upload and scrapbook pictures. When you sign up you can personalize your site and I picked the zebra print. Photobucket is a site that could be used for family to keep in touch and they can print them off so they have the pictures on hand. This site I will continue to use. It is very user friendly. I will suggest people to use this site.

Emerging Technologies

For emerging technologies I picked gabcast. Gabcast is very up to date with technology and being able to do things I did not know you could do. It is a podcast that also puts audioblogging into the mix. I have never heard of audioblogging before gabcast. You can record things on your phone or put it on the VoIP and it is now out there for the world to see. Once it is finished your followers are notified that you have made a post and it is available.

There are many different things you can do on gabcast such as posting greetings, interviews or get togethers. Gabcast can also be an educational tool that many teachers can use in their classroom. You can also let your followers know if you have posted something on ebay or any other website.

This emerging technology is very unqiue but I think I would have trouble using it or if I did it would take sometime getting use to it. What I thought was the most unique thing about the site is every audioblogger gets their own channel for them to post the gabcast. I also do not like recording my voice so I do not think I would like using this.

Life..as much as i can understand..

I have been through ups and downs with my family within the past 2 years. my paretns have recently gotten a divorce after 20 years and now my dad is living in Colorado with his new girlfriend and her kids. I am mad at him because he left this famliy for a new family so now i dont feel like i am his daughter that the other daughters have taken my spot. I wish i could have answers to my questions he has asked.
but my mom has the strongest heart i have ever seen. I just wish I could make things easier for her and find a money tree. with my dad not paying child support she is struggling and i wish i could help. I have lost touch with my dads side of the family they have kinda lost touch and then they have accpeted these new family memebers but shoved my brother and i out. i know that life isnt fair but i am ready for it to be easy for once! somedays the only person that keeps me sane is my boyfriend of 5 years. he is the greatest person ever! i couldnt imagine my life without him! he has been by my side through every hurtle and obsticle i have gone through.

When is life going to give me a break! i know that things could be worse and i have no clue how some people do that but im just ready for something good to happen for once~ im iready to call my mom with good news and not saying i need help paying a bill.. were just ready for something new!!
